What is Assisted Living?

Assisted living is a special combination of housing and personalized support services designed to meet the needs-both scheduled and unscheduled-of those who need help with activities of daily living. Activities of daily living can include tasks related to personal hygiene, laundry, eating, and other similar personal care needs. 

NHARCH promotes residential care and assisted living throughout the state of New Hampshire and works closely with regulators and facility owners/administrators to assure the quality of living and care for residents in member homes. We provide meaningful referral services to member facilities for those seeking to find needed care for a loved one, patient or client.
