Thank you for your interest in our association!
NHARCH has grown considerably in recent years to become a dynamic and professional association representing residential care and assisted living facilities throughout New Hampshire. It is the statewide component of Argentum, and represents more residential care/assisted living providers than any other group in the state.
NHARCH promotes residential care and assisted living throughout the state of New Hampshire and works closely with regulators and facility owners/administrators to assure the quality of living and care for residents in member homes. We provide meaningful referral services to member facilities for those seeking to find needed care for a loved one, patient or client. The association is also our eyes and ears in the halls of the NH State House and within DHHS as rules and laws with potential impacts on our industry are proposed, reviewed and renewed by the legislature and our state partners.
NHARCH is the primary provider of educational forums and programs for those working in residential care/assisted living. We provide a very active and informative educational program for the industry. Members can attend these programs at special discount rates that non-members cannot enjoy. Our popular, fall annual convention and membership meetings throughout the year also provide an excellent opportunity for learning and networking.
Other activities NHARCH is engaged in:
- Legislative and regulatory monitoring, reporting, and lobbying for the industry
- Active public relations programming to enhance the image and professionalism of the industry
- Strong advocates for our members and the industry
- Liaison to state and federal agency regulators, advocating members’ positions
- Maintains liaison and communication with the Assisted Living Federation of America
- Free list-serve program to members as a way to communicate between members via e-mail
- Website with links to individual member homes

Dues:
NHARCH is moving to a flat fee by tier dues format. Every member is assigned to a tier based on their number of licensed beds and pays a single flat rate for that tier.
Each tier’s flat rate is set at the midpoint of that tier’s bed-count range, calculated using our existing $20-per-bed rate. For example, the 6–10 bed tier uses a midpoint of 8 beds, producing a rate of $160 (8 × $20). Bed count is based on the licensed facilities list provided by the State of NH.
Tiers are set in five-bed bands throughout, with a single open-ended top tier for facilities with 76 or more beds, consistent with the current dues cap of $1,550. With dues renewals, members who pay after January 31st are assessed a 10% surcharge.
